Membership Benefits

Theatre57 membership is open to any individual pursuing a career in professional theatre in Galway city or county, outside of a regularly funded organisation. • An invitation to feed into ideas for funding applications and projects led by Theatre57

  • Invitations to all Theatre57 events such as brainstorming sessions, public events, member events, social evenings and application parties

  • Advice and support

  • Representation at national and international events

  • Representation at / access to IETM

How Do I Join?

We open for membership twice a year - throughout the months of August and February. During these periods you can sign up for 10 Euro (six months) or 20 Euro (12 months).

How Do I Support If I Am Not A Theatre Artist?

First and foremost, support local Galway theatre by going to see it. We would also love to see you at our public events and talks.

This site is a work in progress and we are currently devising a membership system whereby members of the public can have greater engagement with what we do, with facilities to donate towards our activities should you wish to do so.

All the work that Trustees and Drivers currently do is completely voluntary, and will remain so until we get formal funding in place. This means any donations we will receive would go towards website and administration costs, organising our public events, lobbying for a physical space which can house the organisation and any other expenses involved in advocating for the needs of our members.
